Sarah and I will be missing this years Grizedale Stages Rally this weekend and also the Neil Howard Memorial Stages next week, thanks to me catching swine flu last week and subsequently getting a nice dose of bronchitis too…. So the decision to stay at home and keep warm seems more practical then spending a day out in the wet (and possibly white) Cumbrian forests…

To say I am gutted is a bit of an understatement, one of my favourite rallies on the calendar and has traditionally been a big party weekend. Lost the deposit on our B&B (£90) too, thanks to the totally unsympathetic owners, you’d think they would appreciate not being infected… let’s just say we’ll never book into the Hillsdale again…..
